Further results from the Austrian Open

DTV Vice President Thomas Wehling reported further competition results from Austria:

Gert Faustmann/Alexandra Kley were given the silver medal in the Senior II Standard competition. Bernd and Sandra Ketturkat finished 5th. René and Heike Seyboth reached the semi-final (8th place) as well as Bernhard and Sonja Fuss (12th). In the Senior III competition two couples almost entered the final; Wolfgang Walter/Ilse von Beyer ranked 7th, Marius and Barbara Torka 8th. In the competition of the Rising Stars Standard two DTV couples were dancing in the final: Ales Ionel/Isabel Tinnis finished 5th, Dominik Stölzl/Katharina Belz ranked 6th. Michael Rödelbronn/Mariya Proskurnina were given the runners-up place 7.

In the World Open Latin competition Maxim Stepanov/Ksenya Rybina reached the 4th place. In the semi-final four DTV couples were dancing: Marek Bures/Anastasia Khadjeh-Nouri (7th place), Artur Balandin/Anna Salita (9th place), Zsolt Sandor Cseke/Malika Dzumaev (10th place) and Evgeny Vinokurov/Christina Luft (13th place).

At the World Championship Show Dance Standard of the Professional Division the German representatives Michael Wenger/Jekaterina Perederejeva reached the 4th place.
