In the WDSF Open Senior I Standard in Pontault-Combault, near Paris, Roland Tines / Heidrun Puskas (TSC Astoria Karlsruhe) stared. Their report from the tournament: "Despite of the attacks the Saphir Cup took place, however with increased security measures. Everyone was and is shocked by the incidents in Paris. All events in and around paris werde cancelled. For the Saphir Cup the first exception was made. This evening a minute's silence was observed."

They reached the final in the field of 28 couples and danced to third place with five third places.  Eckehard and Anne Kahl (TSC Mondial Köln) reached the semi-final and twelfth place.

At the WDSF International Open Latin 53 couples started. Razvan Dumitrescu / Jacqueline Joos (Schwarz-Weiß-Club Pforzheim) reached the semi final and danced to place ten.
