Zirm / Schwarz defend their title
German Championship Senior I S Standard
60 couples of Senior I S standard met in the city hall in Bielefeld to dance their German Championship. As part of the 800 year celebration of the city of Bielefeld, TC Metropol organized the championship with a ball and live music. Thorsten Zirm / Sonja Schwarz defended their title by winning four dances, followed by Andreas Lippok / Karin Eva Rode, who danced their first German Championship in the senior category. On to third place were Thorsten Strauß / Alma Marit Herrmann. Besides Zirm/Schwarz the whole final has changed from last year; last years' runners-up Thorsten Strauß was able to maintain his previous results with his new partner.
