Suspense was held until the end of the German Championships Junior II B Latin at Vellmar-Frommershausen (organized by Rot-Weiß-Klub Kassel): As a pilot project in the youth section, for the first time the final round was not conducted open, enabling parents and fans to totally focus on supporting their favorites at best. The couples rewarded them with their excellent performance.

Two couples from Berlin, three from Hesse and one couple from North Rhine-Westphalia had a reason to raise their hopes for the title. Rank four to six were then also distributed amongst the Hessians, Maxim Sosunof/Evgeniya Kazarina from Cologne won bronze. This made it certain that the two couples from Berlin will go to Kyiv for the IDSF World Junior II on March 8. Ilja Schäfer/ Christina Zelt won silver. The gold medal and the titel went to Harry Bober/ Romy Kuhlmann, the only couple in the finals who had danced from the preliminaries onwards. (Photo: Estler).
