First in the ranking list competition: Thorsten Strauß / Alma Marit Herrmann

45 couples danced in the first ranking list competition Senior I Standard in CongressPark. After three rounds, the digital markings by seven judges resulted in an equal number of placings from 5-7 and consequently in a final of 7. The first victory 2016 in Senior I went to Thorsten Strauß / Alma Marit Hermann from Pinneberg who were placed first in all dances, followed by Victor Fischer / Alexandra Rehn who were runners-up in all dances. The third place went to Rhineland-Palatinate : Jörg Gutmann / Dr. Isabel Mathes, who were third in four dances and were placed fourth only in the Tango.
