This weekend so many WDSF competitions took place that the couples had to decide in advance where to go. According to the manifold offer of competitions the participation was also widely spread, but still successful for the German dance sports:

Eugen Plotnikov/Sophie Schütz won their first world ranking tournament. They participated in the Third Swiss Open in Lausanne, Switzerland, as the only German couple in the adult latin class and left the floor as winners. In the Senoir I Standard competition three German couples reached the final: Carsten and Alexandra Petsch (3rd place), Sven and Ramona Spengemann (4th place) as well as Christian and Veronika Sauer (5th place).

In Ljubljana, Slovenia, Karl-Heinz Schweiger/Olga Karoulis-Schweiger danced into the final of the Senior II Latin competition and finished 4th. In the semi-final of the adult latin class Kirill Ganapolsky/Kim Pätzug were placed 9th. Pawel Pastuchow/Juliane Engelke from Berlin participated in the Junior II Latin competition and finished 4th.

In Mikolajki, Poland, two DTV couples were dancing in the final of the adult latin class: Maksim Stepanov/Ksenya Rybina won the competition, Arthur Ankerstein/Georgiana Barbu finished 5th.

Lars Erik Pastor/Ecaterina Petrova were participatin as the only German couple in the International Open Latin in Moscow, Russia. They could reach the semi-final and were finished with a split 9th place there.

Timur Imametdinov/Nina Bezzubova took part in the World Open Latin competition in the Latvian capital Riga. They finished 2nd here. Marek Bures/Anastasiia Khadjeh-Nouri also reached the final and were placed 6th.

Valentin and Renata Lusin were dancing in Saint Petersburg, Russia, and finished 2nd in the World Open Standard competition.
