Competition results from Poland and Finland

Besides the North European Championship and the World Championship Junior II 10 Dance, there were a lot of other international competitions on the same weekend. At the WDSF International Open Latin in Elblag, Poland, Kirill Ganopolsky / Kim Pätzug danced into the final and finished third. They were not only happy with their result but also with a well organized competition with a nice atmosphere and live music.

In Helsinki, Finland, Evgeny Vinokurov / Christina Luft danced in the final of the WDSF World Open Latin and finished fourth. Jan Dvoracek / Malika Dzumaev were placed ninth. Jan Janzen / Victoria Litvinova danced in the final of the Youth Latin and were placed third. Andreas Hoffmann / Isabel Krüger were runners-up in the Senior I Latin competition.

After winning the North European Champion title, Jörg Gutmann / Isabel Matthes also won the open competition Senior I Standard. Michael Beckmann / Bettina Corneli also made into the final for a second time in the same weekend and finished fifth. In Senior III Standard Gerhard Baier / Ingrid Cloos-Baier danced in the final and were placed fourth. Wolfgang Drewitz / Eva-Mary Kohn made into the semifinal and were tied at a ninth place.
