Hattrick at Goldstadtpokal for Vescovo/Törökgyörgy

For the third time in a row Maurizio Vescovo/Melinda Törökgyörgy were the winners at the IDSF International Latin tournament for the Goldstadtpokal at Pforzheim. The almost fully booked hall saw them first collect all the "ones" from the adjudicators, and then taking the cup, exclusively designed for the tournament, home with them. A clear second rank in a field of 60 couples went by all ratings to Alexey Silde/ Anna Firstova. Jurij Batagelj/Jagoda Strukelj completed the podium with rank three. Timo Kulczak/Motshegetsi Mabuse, with home field advantage, achieved rank six in the finals.

The international invitational tournament of the main group taking place under the Goldstadtpokal was won confidently by Simone Segatori/Annette Sudol (Germany). The victory in the also international invitational Youth B/A-Latin tournament was won by Armen Tsaturyan/Olga Nikolaeva (Russland), moving the German couple Anton Skuratov/Alona Uehlin-Baranenkava to the second rank.(Photo: Leonhardt)
