Having to go through four rounds and dancing in one heat from the semifinal on, the finalists of the Senior IV Standard had to proof their stamina. Two couples of that final come from Germany: Joachim and Gisela Goetze being placed sixth, Hans-Wolfgang and Angelika Scheuer on the fourth place by being placed third in the Viennese Waltz and the Quickstep. Having to go through four rounds and dancing in one heat from the semifinal on, the finalists of the Senior IV Standard had to proof their stamina. Two couples of that final come from Germany: Joachim and Gisela Goetze being placed sixth, Hans-Wolfgang and Angelika Scheuer on the fourth place by being placed third in the Viennese Waltz and the Quickstep. Giuseppe Iannazzi / Silvana Uzzoli were placed fifth, despite being placed fourth in four dances. The places on the podium went to the Netherlands and Italy. The third place went to Jaap and Marianne Willemstein, followed by Bram and Ans Stelling, both couples representing the Netherlands. Winners by being placed first in all dances are the world champions in that age group from Italy, Luca D'Andrea / Regina Scerrato.
