During the AGM (Annual General Meeting) on 26 and 27 June in Prague, Czech Republic, the delegates of the IDO (International Dance Organization) elected Michael Wendt in an unanimous vote their fourth president since their foundation in 1981.

His predecessor from Norway, Jörn Storbraten, had to resign due to personal reasons and he congratulated to and confirmed the good decision. Of course TAF Germany president Ralf Josat, who was one of the German delegates besides Kerstin Albrecht, didn't hold back to congratulate the honorary president of the national federation on his election and to wish him luck for leading the international federation. TAF German and Tanzsport Deutschland are very proud of their pioneer and see Michael Wendt as a cosmopolitan person who will be a IDO President with format and visions.
