Six victories, five runners-up, two third places and numerous finalists in nine WDSF competitions. This is the record for Germany' s couples at this year's Saxonian Dance Classics that took place in Dresden last weekend.

Folowing are the results of the amateur competitions:

At the Seniors I Latin competition, Meik and Bianka Sauer celebrated their victory. Thomas and Pia Holzinger were third, Dirk and Fabienne Regitz fifth.

Marek Bures / Anastasiia Iermolenko Khagjeh-Nouri won the WDSF Adult Ten Dance competition. Vadim Lehmann / Maria Kleinschmidt came fourth.

The Seniors III were reigned by German couples. Wolfgang Walter /Ilse von Beyer were the victors in front of: Oliver Luthardt / Anne Hinz ,  Wolfgang Koschier / Birgit Fehrmann-Koschier and Dr. Marius / Dr. Barbara Torka.

Andreas Lippok / Karin Eva Rode danced a great competition and were runners-up at the Seniors I Open Standard competition.

The Seniors II Standard competition was the biggest of the weekend with 118 couples from nine countries. Germany celebrated a double-victory with Gert Faustmann/Alexandra Kley and Rene/Heike seyboth. Bernd and Sandra Ketturkat reached place four and Bernhard and Sonja Fuss place five.

At the Seniors II Latin competition another German couple won, Markus and Stephanie Grebe. Karl-Heinz Schweiger/Olga Karoulis-Schweiger came fifth.

 

German couples were quite successful at the Professionals competitions too. On the first day, the WDSF Professional Division European Championship in Show Dance Latin took place. Marius Iepure/Otlile Mabuse finished second with their impressive performance.

On the next day, they won the PD Latin competition.

At the PD Standard competition, Philipp Hanus/Siri Kirchmann reached the second place, Sasha Wakup/Ann-Katrin Bechtold finished sixth.
