Besides the Senior II Standard, also the World Championship Under 21 10 Dance was organised in Vancouver, Canada. Vadim Lehmann / Maria Kleinschmidt were nominated by Tanzsport Deutschland. In a competition with 21 couples, they easily reached the final and were even placed third according to the marks.

If the results were only based on the latin-american dances, they would have been runners-up. But in the standard dances they finished on the sixth place so that they finished fourth in the end. After a long sightseeing tour, the fourth couple of the world championship travelled back proudly and happily.
