Win for Lars Erik Pastor / Ecatarina Petrova

A contrast to the World Championship Professional Division Masterclass II Standard was the WDSF Rising Stars Latin competition with 93 couples representing 16 nations. Wonderful music carefully selected and played by Burkhard Hans created from the first round a great atmosphere for participants and the audience alike.

Splendid winners were Lars Erik Pastor / Ecatarina Petrova from TC Seidenstadt Krefeld who won the Cha Cha Cha, Paso Doble and the Jive. The silver medal was awarded to Pawel Bartelik / Nikolina Melin from Poland. The bronze medal went to Egor Bobrov / Svetlana Tikhonova from Russia. After the final in the night, another couple from Krefeld was celebrating a fourth place: Vadim Lehmann / Maria Kleinschmidt. They were followed by Angelo Domenico Paolicelli / Isabella La Monica from Italy. Ivan Popov-Lebediansky / Violetta Dzenik from Russia were sixth, followed by Artur Balandin / Anna Salita from Bochum.
