European Dance Sports Federation is establishing
DTV President Heidi Estler elected Vice President of Dancesport Europe
At their first general meeting in Spanish Granada the representatives from 31 member states of Dancesport Europe (DSE) elected their first Managing Committee. DTV President Heidi Estler stood for the position of the DSE Vice President and was elected concordantly without rival candidate. New president is the Spanish president Luis Vano.
Last year the European federation was founded in the scope of the German Open in Stuttgart, where Tanzsport Deutschland has been a founder member. An interim committee organized the first general meeting. The target of Dancesport Europe is to encourage the promotion and organization of dance sports in Europe within the WDSF. The new elected Managing Committee will already meet this weekend for its statutory meeting.
