Semi-final for Nikita and Elisabeth Yatsun

35 couples were taking part in the World Championship Junior II 10-dance in Rimini, Italy. Germany was represented by Nikita and Elisabeth Yatsun from Neustadt. With a good attitude they clearly qualified for the semi-final. Both showed a good performance through all ten dances and finished with a 9th place. The title went to Danila Mazur/Anastasia Polonskaya from Russia in front of Alin-Andrei Beca/Catalina-Elena Tampau from Romania and Glenn-Richard Boyce/Kayleigh Andrews from England.

German youth director Sandra Bähr enthused about the fantastic atmosphere on the fairground of the Italian Championships Standard/Latin and Rock'n'Roll that lasted one week. The World Championships are always taking place at the "Tricolore Hall". She was also very satisfied with Nikitas and Elisabeths result. The couple could improve their result ten places after having finished the competition with a 19th place last year.
