German Youth Champions Evgeny Vinokurov and Christina Luft ranked 5. out of 65 couples at the IDSF World Youth Standard competition in Ancona, a major dance event that lasted until the small hours.

German Youth Champions Evgeny Vinokurov and Christina Luft ranked 5. out of 65 couples at the IDSF World Youth Standard competition in Ancona, a major dance event that lasted until the small hours.

Both young dancers were absolutely thrilled about having reached yet another World Youth Championship final, only four weeks after winning the Silver Medal in Ten Dance. Stsiapan Hurski and Tasja Schulz were only two crosses away from being among the 14 couples in the semi-finals. Moreover, ranks 15-17 were shared, so that the two of them ended up with rank 18. Four nations were represented in the finals, and as expected, the Russians who danced first also won the palm, leaving behind their fellow countrymen on place 4. The Italian couples according to their starting order switched bronze and silver. A couple from the Ukraina occupied rank 6.
