Finally, 37 couples were dancing. Following their success at Riga, Timur Imametdinov / Nina Bezzubova entered and won their first Ranking List together. For both, it was the first time to dance at Hessen tanzt. Kirill Ganopolsky / Kim Pätzug, who entered early, finished second, very close to Artur Balandin / Anna Salita, who entered late. Due to closed markings, the close result for the runners up position was not visible to the audience, which was taken by Ganopolsky / Pätzug with 3:2 dances.
