"A battle of giants, four strong teams with a happy end for Moldova", was the conclusion of DTV sports director Michael Eichert, who also travelled to Kishinev (Moldova) for the World Championships Formation Standard. The two German teams he paid tribute for their outstanding achievements. "Unfortunately the team from Ludwigsburg was not enough for the first place and they could not defend their title. The team from Braunschweig kept the team from Poland clearly at a distance and also had a 1 in the marks." Entering the competition were only 13 teams. Surprisingly the 2007 vice world champion Vera Tiumen (Russia) did not enter the competition. All favourite teams danced their familiar choreographies. The teams will compete again in two weeks at the European Championships in Moscow (Russia).
