The German team already celebrated the next medals at the JMD-WC in Mikolajki  in the afternoon:

Within a few minutes there was a veritable medal shower and the second world champions title: Angelina Coppola/Maya Simonov (TSG Bavaria Augsburg) were the best of the best in the end and were called last and therefore world champions for the award ceremony of the Children's Modern Duos. On the podium Marie Ebert/Lea Panknin (TSV Kastell Dinslaken) were already waiting and made the double success as vice champions.

Shortly after this Anna Grünwald/Nina Knan (TSG Bavaria Augsburg) received the next silver medals for their junior's duo modern.

Five further final participants made a very successful day for the German JMD dancers and fans. The final rounds of the modern small groups children and juniors took place.

The day was opened by the junior's duos modern with the two German duos Lena Vierus/Marie Dibbern (TSC Blau Gold Saarlouis) and Anna Grünwald/Nina Knan. Up to the semi-final they improved round by round and even a cramp for Marie did not restrict them in their very good performances in the semi-final. Only the girls from Augsburg were allowed to perform in front of a full stand on floor 2. It became their dance to WC silver.

In between the children's duos presented their last round. From a German point of view Maya Simonov and Angelina Coppola came to the fore. They once again proved their class in the international starter field. Marie Ebert and Lea Panknin had showed better performances in the rounds before, but it was sufficient fort he German double success.

"New Elements" (TSG Bavaria Augsburg) reached a well-deserved place 5 in the final of the children's small groups.

In the other room, the children's soloists modern were competing. Up to the semi-final all 3 German starters were together and showed tremendous physical condition, as Marie Ebert, Angelina Coppola and Maya Simonov also danced to the final in the duo competition (Maya also in the small group tournament). Marie did not reach the final with a 9th place, which took place with 8 dancers. Maya and showed marvellous performances. Then a few hours of waiting for the award ceremony followed. Maya was called up 7th and  Angelina 8th.

The fifth final with double German participation was the junior modern small groups.  "Next Generation" (TSG Bavaria Augsburg) opened the final round and reached 4th place. "L'équipe" (TSC Blau Gold Saarlouis) closed the final with place 5. At the top the Slovenians rejoiced over the strong South Africans this year.

Ellen Hock and Leah Lindner (TV Großostheim) competed in the junior's jazz duos and ended their first WC as a duo on place 29.

In the soloists adults Louisa-Sophie Brebeck (ASV Wuppertal) qualified as on of 15 dancers for the semi-final jazz on Friday.

The four German soloists modern adults showed their best and outstanding performances in the quarterfinal too. However, the very high quality of performances of the top international dancers only allowed the semi-final qualification for two German participants.

Theresa Meckel (SSG Bensheim) and Anna Ziegler (TSC Blau Gold Saarlouis) ended the tournament on places 12 and 23. In the next round (semi-final on Saturday) Louisa-Sophie Brebeck und Kristina Krieger (SV Eidelstedt) danced.

In the evening the tournaments modern formations junior and small groups adults were started. In the juniors "Amianto" missed the next round at their first WC participation, but reached a well-deserved 15th place of 24 formations. "Hot Chocolate", "Next Generation" and "L'équipe" also reached the semi-final.

An impressive walk-through of all four German groups was to be seen in the adults competition:

From "Arabesque" to "autres choses" and "J.E.T" as well as " outfaced" all German representatives will be  in the second round.
