Benedetto and Claudia Vice World Champions of the Professional Division Standard
World Champions Gozzoli/Daniute retire from active dance sport after award ceremony
Before the quickstep the result was two to two dances in the
final. Gozzoli/Daniute won the waltz and the slowfox,
Feruggia/Köhler the tango and the Viennese waltz. So Benedetto and
Claudia were 0,02 points behind Gozzoli/Daniute before the
quickstep. The last dance had to decide and in incomprehension of
many spectators the Lithuanian couple won.
In the sports hall of the university of Nanjing, China, about
3.000 visitors followed the fascinating duel between the two best
couples of the WDSF PD at their world championship standard.
