Austrian Open – Third day

On the third day of the Austrian Open, German couples had good results again.

WDSF World Open Standard
It was a great day for Dumitru Doga / Sarah Ertmer (TSC TD Düsseldorf Rot-Weiß). They danced a great competition throughout all rounds and made it into the final. The German fans would have loved to see a placing further ahead but at the price presentation they were called out for the fourth place.

Daniel Radu / Anne Weber (Braunschweiger TSC) danced in the quarter final and finished 21 ^st-22 ^nd.

WDSF Open Youth Latin
Nikita Schneider/Jacqueline Joos (Schwarz-Weiß-Club Pforzheim) danced in the final and were runners-up.

Two couples danced in the semifinal. David Ovsievitch / Elisabeth Wormsbecher (TSC TD Düsseldorf Rot-Weiß finished tenth, Mikael Tatarkin / Nicole Wirt (TSZ Heusenstamm) were eleventh.

WDSF PD Open Standard
Benedetto Ferruggia / Claudia Köhler (TSC Astoria Stuttgart) made it easily into the final and won the Austrian Open.

Viennese Waltz Competition
Mantas Bruder / Anastasia Shamis (TSZ Stuttgart-Feuerbach) were the best German couples. They made it into the semifinal and finished ninth.

Mathias Bach / Jessica Kerbs (Bielefelder TC Metropol) finished 18th-21st, Juergen Stettner / Yvonne Werner (TSG Fürth) 34th-36th.  Stefan Toepfer / Lisa Marie Hoffmann (TSC Rot-Weiß Böblingen) and Marius and Barbara Torka (TC Rot-Weiß Leipzig) shared the place 40th-45th. Peter and Karola Helmer (TC Rot-Weiß Leipzig) finished 46th-50th.

Junior I Latein
Daniel Lenz / Vanessa Viktoria Gerke (Schwarz-Weiß-Club Pforzheim) missed the final and finished 7th. Also in the semifinal were Daniils Sitovs / Rita Schumichin (Art of Dance, Köln), who finished 9th-10th.
