Ranking List win for Thorsten Strauß / Alma Marit Herrmann

Couples of Senior I S Standard opened the ranking list season in Wolfsburg. With nearly 40 couples, the participation was far below the expectations. For the first time, the couples and the audience in Congress Park experienced closed marking in a ranking list competition. The winners were decided in the last dance. Thorsten Strauß / Alma Marit Herrmann won with one point ahead, last years' winner Klaus Genterczewsky / Julia Quinot were runners-up. Tears of happiness were shed by Kim and Silke Bartels who were very happy with their third place at home. The judges agreed on the fourth to the sixth place in the order of: Carsten and Alexandra Petsch, Marc Bieler / Sandra Mösch and Horst Droste / Claudia Kahl-Kaminsky.
