Grand Slam Standard and Latin Competitions in China

Still underway in Asia, Sports Director Michael Eichert reported on results of the WDSF Grand Slam competitions in Wuhan, China. Simone Segatori / Annette Sudol once again won the standard competition. They had lost the Slow Waltz to the first runners-up, but took the victory in the four other dances with clean and outstanding dancing. For the other four Standard couples, it didn't go as well as wished for. Anton Skuratov / Alena Uehlin didn't get farther than place 11 in the semi-final. Dumitru Doga / Sarah Ertmer (17th) and Valentin and Renata Lusin (22nd) reached the quarter-final. 

In the Grand Slam Latin competition, which also took place in the impressive hall with a  great atmosphere, Marius-Andrei Balan / Nina Bezzubova reached place four. Pavel Pasechnik / Marta Arnst were close runners-up to the final. Evgeny Vinokurov / Christina Lust (18th) and Dumitru Doga / Sarah Ertmer (19th) reached the quarter-final.
