The new Vice World Champions Benedetto Ferruggia/Claudia Köhler presented themselves in top form. With a clear victory in every single dance, they became the new German Champions Standard. With the same clarity, rank two went to Simone Segatori/Annette Sudol, who were as well among the finalists in the IDSF World Championships one week ago. The adjudicators also came to an agreement regarding their decision about the bronze medal, which went to Stanislaw Massold/Christine Deck. The siblings Oliver and Jasmin Rehder ranked 4., leaving behind the acting World Champions in Ten Dance, Christoph Kies/Blanca Ribas Turón. For the very first time, Valentin Lusin/Renata Busheeva made it to the finals and eventually occupied rank six.

107 couples were at the start in the booked up Zwickauer Stadthalle where 3000 viewers watched them dancing in an extraordinary atmosphere.
