European Championship Youth Latin and European Championship of National Teams
The two German couples did very well on their first International Youth Championship. 61 couples competed in Cambrils, Spain, of which the German couples both reached the semi-final:

The new federation Dancesport Europe hosted their first competition, the European Championship of National Teams. Each Team had to include one couple each of U21, Adults and Senior I. Team Germany won the competition close. Especially the Senios couples, who won their competitions, each contributed 20 point to the total result of 66.
