New German Champions Juniors I B Latin
35 couples competed this Saturday noon in Berlin. The semi final was filled with couples from 5 different federal states, but in the final, there were only two couples each from Bremen, Nordrhein-Westphalen and Baden-Württemberg.

German Champions Juniors II B Latin from Berlin
Four dancers from Berlin reached the final out of 71 couples at the German championship Juniors II B Latin. Only Efrem Kuzmichenko/Samira Hafez were both from Berlin. Pawel Pastuchow/Juliane Engelke, who were sixth last year, danced for Bremen with new partners this year.

Doga/Ertmer receiving European Bronze Medal 10-dance
Balan/Moshenska winning World Ranking Competition Latin
Dumitru Doga/Sarah Ertmer from Düsseldorf made it to the rostrum of the European Championship 10-dance in Copenhagen, Denmark. They were given the bronze medal and missed the silver medal only in a bit more of a half point.

The ranking competition in the Boston-Club Düsseldorf was well attended: Among the 26 couples taking part in this competition eight are raking among the best twelve couples in the German ranking list. According to this fact semi-final and final was a real pleasure for the audience.

The place where the competition took place is not only difficult to spell, but also difficult to pronounce: Szigetszentmiklós, close to the Hungarian capital Budapest. The city is on a small island on the Danube and therefore was the perfect setting for a romantic Valentine’s day.

Cseke/Dzumaev: Strong performance in Glinde
At the beginning of the ranking list competititon in Glinde the 15 Latin couples had to battle for some space. The competition was nested into the raking list Senior II Standard competition in which more than 100 couples took part. Therefore, floor and also the space next to had already been well occupied.

Results from the South
From the WDSF competitions taking part in the Spanish capital Madrid the following results can be reported: Marek Bures/Anastasiia Iermolenko Khadjeh-Nouri were placed 4th in the World Open Latin competition. The semi-final of this competition in which 65 couples took part was reached by Arthur Ankerstein/Georgiana Barbu who finished 12th.
