Blaues Band der Spree
For more than 35 years the traditional Dance Carousel "Blaues Band der Spree (Blue Band of the River Spreee)" attracts thousands of dancers to Berlin for Easter.
Several world rankinglist-tournaments, german rankinglist-tournaments and further 40 open competitions of all classes from Good Friday to Easter Monday are included in the schedule at the Sport Centrum Siemensstadt.

Hessen tanzt
Over 7,000 dancers from every corner of Germany togehter with an ever increasing number of competitors from other countries take part every may at the biggest dance sport event of its kind in the world. The competitors from all age groups and ability levels in both the standard and latin american dances are dancing on up to 8 floors in the Ice Sport Hall and up to 4 floors in the Factory Sport Hall - all at the same time!

The Historical Townhall Wuppertal was build in 1900 in Wilhelminian style and offers the perfect ambiance for dancing in glamorous halls with unique acoustics. The atmosphere of the danceComp is for dancers and audience unique - feel the thrills of joy.
Since 2004 the dancesport association of North Rhine-Westphalia organizes tournaments for all classes and the DTV-ranking list tournaments the first weekend in july every year. Since 2009 the danceComp becomes international - with additional world ranking list tournaments on the programme of the danceComp.
