Sven Traut new National Youth Trainer Standard

The Presidium has selected Sven Traut for the vacant post of the National Youth Trainer Standard. Traut was competing in Ten Dances and has been active as a trainer with a focus in Standard and is already part of the DTV regional federations trainer team.

Sven Traut started dancing at the age of seven and was an active competitor from 1978-1998. Between 1993 and 1995 he was German 10 Dance Champion with his partner Sybill Daute. The highlight of their career was being crowned World Champion 10 Dance in 1995. From 1993 to 1997 they were regular finalists of the World Championship 10 Dance and two times German Champions (1996 and 1997). As a trainer he already has a long list of successful couples, he works also as judge with both national and international licenses and teaches regularly on congresses for trainers and judges. He holds the German Trainer A license issued by the DOSB.

Commenting on his new position Sven Traut says:“ I’m very happy for the trust put in me and I am very proud that this new position reflects my long work for the Youth. Children and Youth dancers have always been my close to my heart; in the future I will continue contributing to the best possible education in dance for our youth to reach the highest ranks also on an international level.”
