Narrowly missed…

This is how the German results of the fifth day of the World Championship in Wetzlar can be described. As the only German participators Lisa Geis/Laura Posavec, JTC Großostheim, were qualified for the final Duo Junior Modern on Wednesday evening.

Small Groups Germany (Sonja Kron)

Five duos were dancing in the last round and the decision was more than marginal. In the end, the dancers, who are coming from Aschaffenburg, but are starting for the Hessian Dance Sport Federation, finished 4th and so could only leave their Norwegian competitors behind.

The Canadians were very successful again and received eight of 15 possible medals. Only in the category Groups Adult Jazz Dance they left one gold medal for Slovenias team “Bring on the man”. All the other competitions they won. The German representatives of the Small Groups spontaneously formed up with their costumes in black (Moving Art)/red (Sesuality)/gold (Imagination). They had dropped out earlier of the competition with the 15th, 16th and 17th place.

On Friday all qualifications in the section Modern will take place, the finals will be in the Rittal Arena in Wetzlar on Saturday. Tanzsport Deutschland is represented there by 16 participants until Sunday.
