First gold medal for Korea and Germany

The next to last day of the IDO World Championship Ballet/Jazz and Modern Dance in the Rittal Arena in Wetzlar was characterized by the rounds of the age groups Adults 2 Groups/Formation, Solo female in the Modern section and of the categories Jazz Adults 2 Formation and Jazz Junior Solo male. For the first time in this week Korea and Germany were given the gold medal: Kim Min Ah won the title in the category Solo female Adults, “InTakt” won the title for Germany.

The German dancers could be very happy about the competition course. Looking at the overall results they occupied place one to seven. The only gold medal for Germany until now was given to “InTakt Modern” (TV Unterbach), that could leave their club mates “Siyanda”, so getting the silver medal, with almost all ones behind. In the same section Groups the German Champion and Runners-up Champion autres choses Modern and Arabesque Modern finished 3rd and 4th.

The German Champion Adult “autres choses” had to admit defeat against the competitors from Poland and Canada. In the end the group finished 5th. Magdalena Dudek (SV Eidelstedt) ranked 6th in the final and even was given a one. The regional champion Leon Morosch had to be satisfied with the 7th place in the category Solo male Junior.
